    Firstly; it doesn't really sound like this little man is lacking in physical activity. I mean, if he wants to run around and play, he will, right? It seems like you have lots of fun stuff to do at your place!! (Can I come play? )
    Anyway, at this point in time, I will admit that I don't stray too far with the kiddos I have. Too many "runners" and so it's either wagons or stroller for those guys. We are fortunate to have a very large yard with a couple of acres to roam, so I usually just use that space.
    I think it's funny that mom has decided that he is irritable because of something you are NOT doing. It would seem more likely to me that he is cranky because of the fun things you ARE doing.
