I hear ya! I have one who left my care a while back and she is good friends with a current family I have....the kids are close and the dkg I still have talks often about the one who left and when she does it tugs a little on my heartstrings. just like anything else in life time will take away the frustration, anger, hurt, pain, fear etc. The old family that left, they too drive by my house, sometimes when I am outside with the kids I see them drive past, it is an odd feeling, I don't like it much!
