My reentry note has to clearly state that the 'child's symptoms pose no threat of illness to the other children in care' ... most Dr's are not willing to sign a reentry note that says the child poses no threat to others if indeed it IS communicable because even some common childhood diseases like chicken pox can be 'life threatening'

I too would stick to my guns ... out of curiously what IS the rash called cause our public health lists numerous ones that do indeed have an 'exclusion' for them?
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
