Yah its dangerous, but what a bummer that its no longer 1$ store.... now that things are 1.25$ all the way to 3$ I choose more carefully. They are pretty dum dum cause I use to buy alot more there... Wonder if others are also like that, maybe they'll stop bringing up the prices.

    Dollar store and Costgo DANGEROUS

Dollar discount stores have become more competitive and more profitable in the post-recession economy. If one dollar store’s strategy catches on, soon you may even be filling your prescriptions there as a subsidiary of Dollar Tree, opened a pharmacy in one of its 181 stores last year. I refuse to take my debit card into the dollar stores. Cash only. Forces me to stay on budget. Otherwise I'm wondering around filling the cart! I love the dollar store!

I love the dollar stores for art supplies and holiday decorations!! My fiance also calls it the $50 store lol. I actually prefer the Dollar Tree for most things as they are still $1.25. Dollarama has a bigger selection for art supplies but you need to watch the prices.

You need to know your prices, often things are cheaper at Walmart or even Michaels sometimes. The size of things has to be taken into consideration too.

There are some things I only buy at dollar stores though.

I never go into Dollarama and walk out spending under $40. I think the most I have spent is around $100.
