    I've got an interview!

So I landed my first interview! Had a few inquiries but they were looking for cheap(er) care or it is for a spot down the road. This family is serious and I went over all the deal breakers over the phone and he said he was OK with everything. I am going to charge more per day for part time care but opted not to for this family as they want 4 days a week (almost full time anyways) and he will only be there 8 hrs a day.

I am now frantically trying to get all my paperwork completed for the interview.

Thanks to everyone that has helped me with advice and support!

Good luck!! Just relax and be yourself. If it's a good fit, it will feel right.

Congratulations! Deep breaths and relax - the parents are probably nervous too.

Yay! Exciting times! Try to be calm and just be yourself. Let your enthusiasm and energy show and if they question you being new, just let them know that you are fresh and full of energy and excitment...let it work to yuor advantage Good luck!

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
