Thank you SOOO much everyone, you have no idea!! After I wrote this and read some responses my Son woke up from nap. I asked him if he wanted some of his special toys to go back in his room, just for him...he was SO excited, he started picking a few and saying "these are my very special ones"...he was in such a better mood the rest of the day!
