Smile Alberta provider needs some suport!

    Hello Ladies!

I am a new member to Daycare Bear and have been soaking in all the wonderful advice floating around. I wanted to give a shout out to any Alberta providers, I am wondering if you are aware of any Alberta spacific caregiver websites? I feel like I'm still in the dark a bit as I'm new to the industry and am learning as I go. Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forum and we all start out slowly but hopefully you will learn fast and be a great success. I'm in Ontario but when I wanted to meet other daycare providers in my area I joined local forums and I was very lucky to meet some wonderful local providers so we can meet for playdates, except for winter of course.

    Hi Sierra!!
I have not found any sites that are specific to our province. I do know that when I opened, 2 1/2 years ago, it was difficult to find Alberta info on NON-licensed dayhomes. Are you private, or working with an agency?
    Feel free to PM me!!
    Welcome to DCBear, too.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
