BlueRose is right on the money! Flexibility is key and don't be hard on yourself or get too frustrated at the beginning. You WILL find your stride and one day it'll just hit you....'hey! I"ve got my $#@% together!". That's a pretty awesome moment! It takes time to get to know the kids and the business.
Doing a little every day is a great idea regarding housework. What I tend to do is have a cleaning blitz on Friday night. I'll disinfect toys in the kitchen sink while kids have free play for the last hour of daycare. Then go nuts getting all mopping, clean bathrooms, dust, etc so it's all done in one evening. It usually takes me a couple hours, then finished. I like my weekends free! I save laundry because, for me, it's a valid excuse to relax. I do it all in one day and sit in front of a good movie to fold it all.
Yup, free play is an awesome tool while cooking!
Don't stress, it'll all be okay![]()
