    Potty Training Success!

I have a 3 year old that I thought was un trainable. I can't even tell you how far behind this child was when it came to potty training. I assist at daycare, I don't train. If a child is training at home then I will offer him consistent times to go, and watch for behaviours... grabbing himself etc. Well, I had just stopped with this one. I was so frustrated with it, it felt like nothing was getting through. And I refuse to stand with a child while on the potty until something magically falls into the toilet.

Today... he walked up to me and said... " I have to go potty " The best words every! So I took him, he sat down... and ... wait for it.... HE PEE"D!!!!!! A full pee. Right away, no hesitation... he just did it. Woo Hoo!!!

    And it get's better!

Then he did it again an hour later... and again before he went home!

So... all of those of you out there that are at the end of your rope... it will happen.

Glad to hear!!! Let's hope he keeps up the good work next week for you!

Potty training can be soo frustrating at times. My two year old son (as of the 14th) has been potty trained for a month now, but has decided for the past two days to not tell me when he has to go, and just pee in his pants...fun times.

Apples&Bananas, CONGRATULATIONS! I'm potty training a girl and a boy right now, both aged 2 and their parents are working hard at home. That's when I give it my all too so I agree with you.
