Hey, this is my day today and yesterday with my new dc child! I pull a chair up beside the playpen and sit with them and lay them down and say nite nite over and over until they learn that there is no other option except to sleep when I put them in their bed for naptime. Yesterday I did that for an hour and a half, today for an hour, hopefully even better tomorrow. He cried the entire time too but this is my method anyway.
