The reason is pure and simple - I can't afford to refund both of their fees as well as both deposits. I have nobody to replace them yet (although I have interviews in place), and I'm going to need those deposits to cover the gap in my income for the next little while. I'd love to be shut of them as of tonight, but my budget will not allow that.
