You do NOT want those families. They lose out on a great provider. I would feel sorry for them for being so selfish and inconsiderate except that they are just not WORTHY!

Rule Number 1: NEVER let someone else's bad behaviour make you feel badly about yourself.
Rule Number 2: Rude people s*ck.

I'm sorry that someone was so inconsiderate of your time. It's possibly the worst part of this job. Any other industry - your dentist, a doctor's appointment, a dinner reservation - would nail this kind of behaviour with a penalty fee. Don't you wish we could do something like that ? LOL

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. Treat yourself to some pretty flowers, or maybe something delicious to eat. You're an awesome caregiver. You consistantly have good advice here on the forum, and I have my fingers, toes and ears crossed that you find an amazing family soon.
