I am new to these boards bur agree with the above. Please do not let this deflate you, although sometimes it is difficult. The best part of this job are the amazing little people that we get to look after each day and help mold into amazing people. The down side is dealing with some (not all) adults and how for some unknown reason they do not have any respect for us and the fact that we are the ones raising their children for them.

If this person/couple did not give you the courtesy of calling to cancel the appointment in advance then they are certainly a family you do not want to be doing daycare for. You will have the right family join your daycare...it will all work out. We are here for you.
