I would give them a written warning that you will be forced to terminate care if the issues are not resolved immediately (list the specific issues and how they need to be resolved). Warn them that any future infractions will lead to immediate termination. Good luck!
And, this forum has taught me ever so much as well...I owe a lot of my success to all the ladies here who give fantastic advice and support
I agree about the letter of warning. I do not allow anyone to show any disrespect to me in my home and my contract and policies must be followed to the letter. There is no excuse for late payments. People have to prioritize their budgets, so do we!

It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.
You know what? I always find that the parents are much harder to deal with than the children
Yes. We cannot put the parents in a time-out. BUT we can enforce our policies and demand the respect we deserve. One example of demanding your respect as a business person...Refuse care for their child when they show up in the morning without late fees or full amount due.
As a parent, I cannot imagine disrespecting, short-changing and pissing off the one person who has such a huge influence and upbringing in my child. That's just plain dumb. It's also a good way to get terminated in my daycare.
