I love the hat idea as well, you could put your daycare logo on them!

Dollar store even has some beginning of the year so cheap to pick up quite a few too. Got mine there last year with a nice wide brim - hate wearing hats but figured had to set a good example so if we are in the sun I wear it but if we are in the back in the shade it comes off.

Yes, I love my sunhats! Mine were normally pretty expensive at Gymboree, but were the previous year's stock and on sale...they had exactly five left in two sizes, so I took them all. No logo or anything, but they are bright orange and I love being able to count heads quickly in a busy park. I also love that I don't have to worry about anyone forgetting their child's hat! Another thing, I let my own kids wear their own hats, not matching...partly because I only have five, but also because that helps other people know that I only have five daycare kids...I am not over ratio
