Make SURE you agree on hours. Ask about the child, sleeping habits, overall personality, eating habits. If the child has been in a previous daycare setting etc. good luck !

My pre-screening questions are basically: what days of the week/hours do you require? any existing medical conditions or allergies? has the child been in previous day care, and if so what are the reasons for leaving? any special needs of the child? what is the childs overall demeanor like? stuff like that. Good luck!

    I pre-screen fairly basic things

    What age is the child?

Have they been in daycare before?

when would they need to start care?

    What hours/days would be required?

And then....would they like to come on the weekend or evening for a meeting.

During the face to face I get more into detailed questions based on the feel I get for the family.

    Good luck

Oops, it's way past 1:30, but I'm glad it went well for you, let us know how the interview turns out. Good luck!
