    Basically the item has to be approved for use in Canada as in meet canadian standards. Where you buy it from isn't as important as it having canadian approval and there should be a sticker on it but maybe only if it is actually bought in Canada. Personally I wouldnt' think there would be an issue with the quad strollers if the model you buy is approved for sale in canada. Car seats yes there are different standards and cribs maybe too as in the approval sticker isn't there. Those are the two most regulated items.
