Good call! I would consider giving them a compromise. Advise that you will be serving a snack at an earlier time... maybe 8:30 or 9am. But let them know that their children will need to eat breakffast before they come. This was it doesn't look like you're cutting out a meal, but pushing it back. My morning snacks look like smaller breakfasts anyways. Then start to phase it back to normal snack time.
Also, make them bring Homo milk! Or at least add an additional monthly charge to help with the cost. If a bag of milk costs 5.00 you could always ask them to add 10.00 onto their monthly fee for providing homo milk. That way, they are covering the majority of the costs and you can still write it off.
My problem with homo is it takes up too much room in my fridge. So, I offer 2% included but homo they have to pay for. It usually pushes the clients to 2% a little earlier. LOL
Thank you apples and bananas! Going to do both of those suggestions for sure!!!
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
