    Half days.. And other things

So had a lady asking about half days and how much I charge. I've never alowed for half days before but I guess one child is in kindergarden and only is in school until lunch. Also she asked about after school rate. I've never done after school before. Only full time children. What do you charge?

I would charge full time rate for half day, especially if she is eating lunch with you. After school rates vary between 10-25 per day depending on your area.

For kindergarten it would be the full time rate. Make sure you are clear with her exactly what happens for getting child to and from school and if she expects you to do that. Also realize the child won't likely want a nap all afternoon so you will have to find ways to entertain them. I would pass on this one probably.
