I just word it as paid days and don't stipulate what I am using them for. They are personal paid days - could go on vacation to the doctor, back to bed, whatever I decide to do on my paid day off.

    Mine is simple:

Three paid personal days may also be used by the caregiver during the year and parents will be given as much notice as possible in advance to arrange alternate care.
