    Mid Week Laugh :)

Here is what I just read as a parents wanted ad for daycare:

Current daycare request (for those who need a laugh!)
Parents requests: 16 month old child must not self feed. Provider must feed child all meals (she doesn't like him to get food on his hands, face or in his hair)
Very limited to no outside play. Parent does not want child to touch dirt, grass or anything other than the stroller (child could catch something from the dirt and grass)
Absolutely no time at a park (too many strangers and toxins at a park and parks are just not safe for her child)
No messy food at all (this includes bananas, strawberries, potatoes or anything else that could potentially get on his body or clothes)
No other adults allowed at provider's home while child is there (this includes providers family members, neighbours are not allowed to talk to provider or children if they see them outside)
Child is to have no contact with any animals (including providers) as animals are dirty nasty creatures (this is parents own words, not mine)
Child is to be picked up the second he cries. Parent does not care what you are doing or if another child needs you her child is to come first regardless of situation
There's more but that about covers how insane this woman really is LOL

That almost sounds like a joke ..... Really? why have a child? why not just buy a doll you can place on a shelf and look at now and again

    Speechless! Just wow!
    Children are great imitators.
So give them something great to imitate.

Yeah. Good luck with that. Excuse me while I laugh my ass off

BTW....I don't think the new Royal baby is even going to get that "special care".

All kidding aside, if this woman is real, I feel so, so sorry for her child. That kid is going to need therapy in 15+ yrs.

Not on kijiji, on facebook. It was posted as her status for her 'friends' to help her find appropriate daycare. Not sure if this makes her sound worse or better but she is a nurse so I can understand some of her worry about getting sick etc, but she is setting her child up to live in a bubble and have no socialization at all. Any provider who takes on this child has their work cut out for them, can you imagine if the child got a scratch or bruise while in care how she would react?

Oh she added a second part: child is scared of loud noises. Under no circumstances will you ever turn on a vacuum or blender or anything else that can make a loud noise.
You will not visit any playgroups or have playdates as I don't know all the people/children who may attend
Child is not allowed to be transported in your vehicle and I must approve of your stroller before he is allowed to ride in it
I need to meet all other children and parents in your care and must be kept updated of any changes.
You must inform me of any children/parents/adults who have been ill that come in contact with my child

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
