You're not being unreasonable at all. My d/c kids have to be here by 8:15 or after 8:45 as I want to get my own child to school on time too.

I recently went through issue after issue with acrimonious separating/divorcing parents. & if one could find an issue to create for the other around the daycare they would!

He has no idea what is involved in getting the entire group out the door to do the school run. It is reasonable starting immediately that child must be in care by 8:15 so the kids know that if child XXX comes then they need to start cleaning up and getting ready to go outside.

Be sure if dad does arrive late that you do not accept the child into care as you will not get paid for keeping the child all day if he misses school either. A subtle reminder that if dad wants to keep custody he must take responsibility for mornings as part of that and what that means if he wants your support in court.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
