Not sure if I should be concerned about redness on dck

My 13 month old dcg came to me this morning with red a red splotchy torso hich i noticed this morning at diaper change time. She doesn't have any allergies that we are aware of. She did have a round of shots on Friday, last month she had a bad reaction to the MMR shot which caused her to be away for a few days. she does have some eczema, but the splotches are just red spots, no bumps or rash. I have notified the parents and the dad will come get her if i want but the child seems normal. In your experience, what would you do?

my 12 month old dcb had the same torso rash. No rashed bumps or discharge. Mom had him checked out and the doctor said not contagious though did not know the cause. He also had a very low fever for a few hours. Next morning the rash was half of what it was and is now gone. No other dck's have it so it's a little mystery. Maybe a reaction to shots.

Check out some images of Fifth's disease on google and see if that is what it looks like. That results in the type of rash you are describing - looks like a mild sunburn with blotchiness. Eventually it covers the body and looks lacy.
