Playfelt, she is in a booster seat at home and for her age I use the tray with it, so it is pretty much like a high chair. However, it could be the other kids who are throwing her off...not sure! She was fine for the first week here...ate really well, happy, no problem. I don't remember any event happening that scared her or upset her while eating. Maybe I will try moving her chair with booster and tray into the kitchen (I generally stand on one side of the island while the kids eat on the other side if that makes any sense) so that she is right beside me. I am glad I am not alone in the rule "eat in your seat or don't eat". I have the same rule about bibs. If yuo don't want to wear your bib, you don't get to eat. They catch on pretty fast. I've never had a child hold out on me for an entire day though! Watching this one to make sure I am not going to be tearing my hair out as we go along...I will not put myself in a situation of months and months of stress again before terminating! I hope this will work out, but it will depend a lot on parents' reactions.
