I was laughing at your word "passionate" because I had one who took 4 full-time weeks to settle in and "passionate" is exactly how I would describe him! He is a really sweet, smart, funny little guy and doing really well, but he is just one of those "big personality" type kids. Wonder if there is a correllation between the long adjustment and "passionate" spirit LOL.

I think when they are part time it takes them longer to adjust. I gave them a one month warning at 4 months and it miraculously stopped. She is still my most "passionate" DCK but is a happy girl now most days!
I set part time at a minimum three days a week.

Sunnydays I had one child that cried for 6 months, it's been a little over a year and she an amazing child but craves my undivided attention. She doesn't have a problem voicing her opinion in the matter either! LOL
