A few years ago I was in Costco after coming off a two weekend vacation. Suddenly I heard "oh my God, she's back!" and was quickly enveloped in a tight hug. One of my dcm's was obviously relieved to be handing over her son to me on Monday! LOL This spur of the moment show of appreciation (and desperation) really made me feel special and needed.

One family does random acts of coffee for me. Another family thanks me for encouraging independence. Somedays its just the small things that make the difference.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
