I found with my anxious dcg that keeping things as absolutely routine as possible helped her. I mean, if even her slippers were moved to a different spot, she got upset, so I made sure they were always put in the same spot. Although she no longer pees all the time, she still has that anxious type of personality. If I move anything out of its normal spot, she notices and asks me to put it back. The other day the kids moved a box of kleenex and she asked me to put it back where it goes because it's "in the way". I didn't move it immediately as I was busy and then about 15 minutes later she came to me with an anguished look on her face and said "Sunnydays, I really need you to put the kleenex back"...LOL. Her mom wants to know whether this is normal and I really have no idea! She functions well on most levels, so I tend to think she is fine...but I told her she might want to mention it to the doctor next time in case.
