What do you charge for school age kids?

What do you charge for children who you just watch after school for say 2-3 hours? I am thinking a weekly flat rate, but what would a good rate be??

Many charge $15 for one time either before or after and $25 a day if the child comes for both. The amount of time they are in care is less important in the sense that it takes up one of your 5 spaces and especially if the parent expects you to have the space available to her for non school days such as in the summer/PD days, etc. For those full days the rate would be whatever you charge other for a full day.

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
