I could have sued her for sure. I have written proof in the form of emails and text messages that she is a liar. She's SO lucky I have decided that she's not worth it, because from what I have heard from a lawyer friend, she could owe me thousands of dollars because what she's done is "libel", and very much against the law.

I have to be honest and say that it was REALLY difficult for me to refrain from emailing or calling her to tell her all of that. A big part of me wants her to sweat, thinking that her horrendous actions actually have negative consequences for her. She also has another court case pending where she is trying to sue for damages from a crash, and her credibility is being called into question. It would look SO bad for her if I took her to court for libel. It would virtually destroy her other case. I won't do this, but do you know how hard it is to keep from telling her how lucky she is?

I am still pretty upset, as you can see. :s
