Ugh...I hate when parents do this/try to do this. One of my parents did this a couple of weeks ago. I explained to her that I would be more than happy to help her out on the rare occasions when her hubby is out of town and she needs to drop dcg off early, BUT I would require her to notify me the day before so that I would be able to start my own morning routine 15 minutes earlier. Duh ! What is it about some people and their lack of basic manners ? Ask and ye shall (likely) receive, but to just show up without even asking is just plain rude.
