    Mother's day poem

Does anyone have a simple mother's day poem to place inside a mothers day card?

    I am using this one:
    Sometimes you get discouraged
    Because I am so small
    And always leave my fingerprints
    on furniture and walls

    But everyday I'm growing
    I'll be grown some day
    And all those tiny handprints
    Will surely fade away

    So here's a little handprint
    Just so you can recall
    exactly how my fingers looked
    when I was very small

This poem is not good for a card, but as a mother myself I love to read it every now and then to remember what is really important at the end of the day
Today I left some dishes dirty
The bed got made around two-thirty
The crumbs I spilled the day before
Were staring at me from the floor
The fingerprints there on the wall
I guess will still be there next fall.
"For shame, oh lazy one," you say
"And just what did you do today?"
I rocked a baby 'til she slept
I held a toddler while he wept
I played a game of hide and seek
I squeezed a toy so it would squeak
    I pulled a sled, I sang a song
I taught a child what's right from wrong.
What did I do this whole day through?
Not much shows, I guess it's true
Unless you think what I have done
    Might be important to someone
With bright blue eyes and soft blond hair
If that is true, I've done my share.

I traced the children's hands in green paper to be stems, drew a pot for the bottom and we glued foam flowers on the top of the 5 fingers/thumb for the front of our card and I used your poem. It was perfect. Thanks!

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
