    Only sick here?

I have a family that apparently has the fountain of wellness flowing through their house!

Their youngest has a nasty cold with a low grade fever. He has been coughing and snotting all over everything.

When he goes home he is fine, no cough.

His sister is now starting to get this cold and is also fine when she goes home.

I need to get me this fountain of wellness!

Yellow or green snot is not permitted at my dayhome so if his snot is yellow or green I would take a picture of it to show the parent and say he needs to be looked at by a dr and I need a note to say its not contagious and that its ok to come to daycare..... But since he's already given it to his sister I'm sure you won't get a note ; ) maybe a long weekend at home will be just what they need.

The parents could be fibbing, definitely. But is there any possibility the kid(s) have developed an allergy to something in your house.. do you have any pets?

Allergy's are very bad right now, my daughter has green to clear snaught right through allergy season and it doesn't amount to anything.

I have 2 here with runny noses. One is thick and green, but is behaving fine with no other symptoms then a light cough once in a while. Nothing really worth excluding for.

I have a good cold right now. My allergist says that most colds right now seem worse because of the season right now.

Allergies crossed my mind too. Do you have pets they don't have at home? You could be right about the foutain of wellness though, or maybe it's a fountain of crapola!

Yeah, I have reported to parents how I think dck may be coming down with something do to xxxx symptoms exibited at daycare. Next day, parents say child was great all evening and then the symptoms mysteriously return here. Sigh!
This spring though I have noticed some runny noses, sneezing and dark circles under the eyes. These are all symptoms of reaction to all the new growth and blossoming that has been going on the past 2 weeks. Doesn't have to be an allergy though just as sinus irritation to mother nature.
