    Ahhh...the freedom!

So today is my first day without having to do the school pick up and drop off anymore and I feel so free! My schedule is getting changed to how I always wanted it but couldn't because we had a clock to follow.

    Today is a good day!

Congrats! I can't imagine having my day revolve around all those trips to school with the children and all the bundling of jackets, shoes, etc. several times a day would make me crazy. I admire all of you who have to go through that and still manage to stay on schedule with everything else.

ahh, it was fantastic. The kids slept longer (because they could), were more relaxed and the day felt more natural and smooth.

good for you for doing what you need to make your job more enjoyable and fun...for you and for the dckids as well!
i don't have to leave the house at all, but even just having to watch the clock to have one little dcg ready for afternoon preschool is too much pressure for me. i'm saying no more afternoon prek after this year!

    Enjoy!
When I first opened my daycare in January I had 2 school agers who I dropped at the bus stop which is on my street, 5 houses down, 5 mins each time max! However as I began taking on more and more babies this quick 5 minutes turned into babies delaying their morning nap, bundling them up tired and fussing, then waking them from afternoon nap and bundling them up again. Not worth it IMO! After a month of this and other issues with the parents I terminated and now only have infants in my care. Such freedom!
As summer is approaching I am getting quite alot of inquiries for summer care for school agers. Nope! No thank you LOL

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
