hi everyone,

I have a quick question I've been getting different answers on this! I know here in Ontario you are only allowed 5 children in your care plus your own. but does this mean in the yard too? for example someone coming over with 3 and i have 3 of my dcks? 2 of them being ours? or is it a max 5 inculding your own kids in the mix?

It's a max of 5 daycare kids (your own kids and the other provider's other kids do not count. And in your yard is the same as in the house as it is private property. So if you have 3 daycare kids and she has 2 daycare kids, you would be okay, but if you each have three or more, then you would not.

so you mean if i have one child thats mine and she has one thats mine then she has 2 dcks and i have 3 dcks its okay right?

Yes, it doesn't matter how many kids are present with their parent...it is only the total daycare kids you have to keep to 5 or less.
