Question regarding receipts

I write all my receipts in a dollar store receipt book with duplicates as I'm paid and don't give them out until tax time. At that time I give the parents a printed summary of all the receipts and their paper copies too. That way nobody loses any paperwork and they have the option of sending in the actual receipts or the summary with their taxes. My clients love my system.
