Propsed changes to private home daycare ratios

I agree Cadillac! I would like to continue with my daycare for a number of years...the longer I do it, the better it gets and the more I realize the benefits to my family. But I would never survide on 4 daycare kids including my own (that would be 2dck's for me) as I don't think anyone can pay be $100 per day per kid! I also would not survive working for an agency and being paid at least $10 less per day per child. I am writing letters and sending them out and some of my daycare parents have said they will as well.

I get the two kid thing. one of my issues is that I could be forced to choose between running a business and having another child . . . makes me wanna throw up

Yes, and I could be forced to choose between working outside the home and putting my own kids in out of school care so that I could care for other people's kids...which sort of defeats to purpose of being at home
