This Weather drives me nuts!

I'm having a hard time today with these kids. I have 5 DC. They are all on top of each other and its only the morning. They can't play nice with the toys and don't care for the sensory activities I've put out. They just want to fight. Some days I want to cry. Today is one of them.

When this happens, sometimes I find it helps to sit with them and do a group activity (story,game, etc) even if only for 10 min and then when they go back to playing the mood has changed for the better

Sometimes I find they get too stimulated and as songsparrow suggests, I bring them all together for a story or quiet activity. After several minutes of this, it is like I had pressed a reset button and they continue their play in a more somber mode..........for a while
