I definitely cut down on crafting and creating except for rainy days all summer long. Sometimes at the end of the week I apologize to the parents because our colouring was outside with sidewalk chalk and all our other fun was outside all week but they are more than happy with that. We had a lot of rain in our part of the country recently so we've been stuck inside a bit. I told the parents on Friday that we are going out next week even if it's raining, beause I've had enough of that! Lightning will be the only thing that keeps us in this week, rain be damned!
Us too, we went out 2 times last week in the rain, the kids made mud pies and got crazy dirty, I hosed them all down when we got back it was so much fun.

We even put on our swimsuits and danced in the rain one afternoon during a crazy downpour. I want my group to have fun memories! I know a few of my snobby neighbour's think I'm crazy but too bad for then!
