I prefer weekends as well, gives me time to get mentally prepared (and to tidy up the house as well!). I'm on "vacation" for the next 2 weeks, but have an interview tonight. Such a bad call because I'm not at all in the daycare mindset and I'm not sold on this kid for logistic reasons (part-time with shift work, also under 3 years - I'm with an agency that limits the number of young ones I can have).

I have gotten all my clients and interviews off of daycare bear, kijiji and godaycare.com. I hold my interviews Tuesdays typically as my older kids are gone to swimming lessons 6-7pm. That way my last client is gone by 5:15 and I am able to clean up, feed my youngest son dinner, prep our dinner and be ready for a 6pm interview and it it happens to run longer my hubby and kids arrive home and its the parents cue to leave.
I have also done Saturday mornings around 11 but I prefer not to. I do not hold them EVER during working hours.

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
