Overnight care for sure opens up too many issues. But there is still a demand for second shift. I have even seen caregivers that did only second shift so had their daytimes to themselves and had the kids come to care just in time for nap. Good part was parents expected less in terms of programming and just lots of freeplay. A good option for someone that also has another self -employed business they want to do in the daytime.

What time is the second shift usually? What is expected, and how much is the competitive rate?

I have to say that I feel nervous because of the investment we're going to plunk down. I'd like to be able to pay down as quickly as we can, thus I am attracted to extending the business hours.
