It's strange that a SW Ont area code is being used in Brampton because that is long distance from our area code. But what do I know, I'm technologically challenged. It's obviously a cell phone. Hope it's over and done anyway.

I am wondering if it's the same scammer reported at Callercenter.com. The website received several complaints against phone numbers:

519-694-1573
519-454-8028
519-701-3728
519-701-3723
519-943-6273
519-370-8466

and several others, all with 519 area code.

I have a friend that lives in Brampton and her area code is 519. .... I used to live in the 705 and the 905 area code and lots of other #'s within the same area code were long distance .... It just depends on how large of an area it covers..... And like 705 .... 905 is huge.
