For all intents and purpose non of my own kids ever knew it any different. As I said my oldest was under 2 when I started and she loved having a friend to play with while I was busy with our baby. My next two kids were born into the daycare. Right now my youngest is 18 years old and the only one still at home. She has special needs and fits in well with the toddler activities so it still works for me. When you have 4 kids it doesn't take much to have extra kids hanging around.

    One year.
And sadly my first dck will be leaving at the end of the month along with her brother(who started 2 months after her). So begins the interview process...

I started in April 2010 so its been just over a year. But I started out slowly, only 2 kids from April til Sept and I filled all my spots in Sept 2010.

June 2010 I took on my first kids. So only a little over a year.
Yup, feels longer for sure. And I feel like I have learned soooooo much about myself, how to parent my own kids and what I need/expect from this business.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
