Paying too much for day care (BC) ?

Do you wish to send your child to day care but can not because of child care fees? If you have any opinions on BC child care fees, please discuss in this thread.

As operator of a family childcare, I would agree that childcare costs have become prohabitively expensive in the Vancouver region. That is partly due to a number of different factors: increasing rent (i.e. Vancouver), employee salaries, regulation, etc. Coupled with the fact that the provincial government has not been increasing subsidy coverage and reducing operation funds for childcare provider. It might to time to lobby our local MP's for change!

    Warm Regards,
