    Oh boy. I feel for you. That has to be so frustrating every day for you!
    Honestly, I would have the kiddo all ready to go and keep pick ups short and sweet: "xx had a good day, ate well had xx for lunch. slept well the usual naptime and played well, have a good night xxx and see you in the morning."
    Also it may help if you have a daily schedule posted by your door. I have a general schedule posted but that all changes based on the weather and mood of the kiddos.
    I wonder if SHE is in fact the one paying for the daycare or giving her daughter the $$$ which would explain her control issues.
    Just remember, its not YOU its HER.
