Smile Keeping yourself smart lol-how do you do it?

    Hey everyone,

I have been running my daycare for 3 years and am just feeling a little bored. I enjoy my job but am not feeling mentally challenged lately. What do you all do to fill this for yourselves?

    thank you in advance

Love the title to this thread lol. I know what you mean...once you get into the swing of things this job can be mentally very unstimulating. You actually start to LOSE brain cells lol. I read stuff online a lot to keep busy. Maybe a subscription to some sort of online magazine, or something would help. There is one called Care2Healthy that is alright. It's free.

Mental challenges? Hmmm, I read the newspaper everyday so I know what's going on outside of my daycare walls LOL, I love crosswords and any other word puzzles, I read books that require my focus (sorry Danielle Steele) and I am elevating my cooking skills (which are basic at best) by taking some cooking classes and trying the next level in difficulty in some recipes I have been too intimidated to try.
