if you know that this family lies about when a child is sick I would definitely ask for a doctors note.

I have had issues with families bringing sick kids to daycare in the past. I have a pretty good group right now. I am however changing my contract to read that I have the right to terminate a family if they consistently bring a sick child to daycare.
