So this will be my first year doing daycare taxes.. I started last April.
So far I have had 5 families come and go for various reasons.
Out of those families I know of two that will definetly be claiming their daycare expenses as they had asked for receipts( I made them out receipts each month.)

One family said they didn't need receipts.
One family didnt ask for receipts
And one family skipped out on me with out paying me so I will not be writing them a receipt at all!

So my question is what do I do? Not really too sure.?

Also, I have kept all my receipts for grocery stuff.
I have also kept gas receipts.how to I log my info for driving in my car with the kids and to the store for groceries. I go once a week for daycare food.

I have also bought quite a bit of stuff for the daycare toys ect from garage sales and thrift stores, along with my own things that are now used for the daycare. How do I go about charging this stuff out. Or can I just make out receipts to myself for the cost if the things.??

It's all very confusing, I just don't want to end up paying an arm and a leg in taxes and have gotten myself quite worked up over this lol
