    101 here they get the call unless the child wakes up from afternoon nap with a fever over 101 and it wasn't there prior I just let the parent know via text what to expect and then they are excluded the next day

    Ok thank you so very much. One of my parents pulled the "I am a nurse" card and that made it hard to fight back. She even tried to get out of paying me for the day. I needed to firm up my back bone as my sickness policy is very clear and she signed it. She even mentioned that her school and previous daycares allowed fevers. She claims it is her child's way of fighting off infection. Thanks for listening and the help.

    She signed your policies, she needs to follow them.

    Yes, a fever is her child's way of fighting off infection. Which is why he shouldn't be at daycare. Good grief.

    Agree! If a kid is fighting an infection, they have an infection.
