I haven't really given it much effort here at all yet. I have a 2.5 yr old dcg who is still having accidents often.
Exactly why I changed my potty training policy. Mom of an 18 month old asked about the potty. Um, no. I also had a 2.5 yo here that was barely verbal, no self-help skills, no understanding of when he was wet or dry and she started to ask about toilet training. So I quickly came up with my new policy I also don't allow underwear until they are accident free HERE for 1 month, at my discretion to allow it earlier.

I have figured things out as I've gone along. You will learn what works and what doesn't, and what you can put up with or not. My policy handbook is ever evolving. It started out covering issues I expected to have and quickly grew to cover issues I was experiencing. It is very lengthy and I am still adding to it
