Mom took it better then I expected, she still asked if I would take the sibling, but I stood my ground and once again said no. I also asked her once again to keep her eyes on her since there's a chance that she might come down with symptoms.
I told mom they could return tomorrow as long as both are well enough, and if at drop off I notice they aren't well, I will send them back home.

Good to hear. May i respectfully suggest something in regards to changing your sick policy? It might be in your best interest to add: when dckids are on antibiotics they should have a minimum of 48 hours on med before you can accept them back. Docs say after being on meds for 24 hours you are no longer contagious, but i would make your policy 48 hrs to protect your kids.

Thanks for all your advice!! I am making changes to my sick policy for sure. I have 24 hours, but that really isn't enough time. I am changing it to 48 hours, along with if a sibling is home sick, the other stays home as well. This is my first time having siblings in care, and actually thought parents would have common sense to just keep both girls home, but that's not the case.
